Greenhaven Development was founded in 2024 as a collaborative venture between sustainable architect Pete Choquette and affordable housing developer Sean Brady. Each had spent years in their respective professions but found themselves thinking, “there has to be a better way!”
Both design and development trend toward repetition in pursuit of value. But value for the company is not the same as value for the homeowner. After collaborating on several projects over the years, Sean and Pete decided to found Greenhaven to pursue a shared vision of making sustainable homes accessible to people with regular incomes.
Greenhaven is a joint partnership between Sean Brady of Brady Development, an affordable housing developer throughout the Southeast in operation since 2014, and Pete Choquette, a 20-year veteran of the sustainable architecture industry. We also have a close affiliation with Centripetal Works Design, an architectural firm founded by Pete.
Brady Development and Centripetal Works continue to pursue independent projects. However, when opportunities require a close collaboration between affordable housing finance and sustainable design Sean and Pete are able to meet those needs together through Greenhaven Development.
